Levi is a stunning 16.3hh dapple grey 10 year old stallion. He is a very strong boned horse that stands over a lot of ground. He has lovely movement and a “rocking horse” canter. Levi has a beautiful nature and a kind eye.
Abas Lad is by the outstanding stallion Abalou, who is also the sire of Levi’s dam. Abalou has sired many top international event horses including World Champion 3 Day Event horse Messiah, Delta, Tactics, Eze, Lion Heart, Alibi, Fair Child, Green Wood, Gentle George, Mrs Robinson. And top level showjumpers Aberdeen Road (Grand Prix showjumper and World Cup level showjumper), Puissance (HOY 2007 jumped 1.90m), Gemima Puddleduck, Cause for Appaluse, Aba Who and Aba Chief.
Amberlou (Levi’s dam) is full sister to Torcida (advanced event horse, sold internationally to Germany), Show Gun (advanced event horse, sold to America) and Curious George (advanced eventer, ridden by Vaughan Jeffries). Amberlou was injured as a two year old preventing her from realizing her potential as a competition horse but has produced stunning progeny.
Romanov by Ramzes II. The Ramzes II line has proven over the last decade and a half to be one of the most successful lines in New Zealand, with numerous top class horses in all three Olympic disciplines. In years gone by Romanov was the second best eventing sire, Abalou being the best!
Levi is schooled to a high level of dressage and is showing a good foundation for piaffe, flying changes, half passes, starting on passage and spainish walk.
