Diamond Park Sinatra
97% Thoroughbred Cremello Stallion
*Producer of Golden Palominos and Buckskins*
See redcliffsequestrian.co.nz for more photos

We have been lucky enough to purchase Sinatra in April 2012. Sinatra has a lovely, easy-going temperament and is a pleasure to handle and passes this onto his progeny. He is rising 6yrs old and presently 16hh but still looks to grow alittle more.

Sinatra is extremely athletic with a floating trot and a beautiful up hill canter. He has the most magnificent style over a fence, tucks his knees right up and opens his hocks with plenty of spring.

Being over 97% thoroughbred, Sinatra will also act as a refining factor to any breed. He will add quality and class to warmbloods, crossbreds and quarter horses alike. He'd also be fabulous to put over pretty show ponies to produce beautiful full size buckskin or palomino Show Ponies or stunning Park Hacks.

Sinatra is a cremello. This means that if he is bred with any bay, black or chestnut colour mare, he will produce a palomino or buckskin (dilute). Because he is a cremello and not a perlino, he can produce a palomino with bay or black mares (provided they carry the chestnut gene). There is a 50% chance of a dilute foal when he is bred with a grey mare. He will produce another cremello only if he is bred to a dilute mare. He has been carefully bred to carry the genes that produce an amazing coppery dark palomino with snowy white tails (see the photos of his dam and grandsire below). These dark gold palominos are rare in New Zealand.

Lately I have had a few people comment that they love everything about him but are put off by his blue eyes and pink skin. Cremellos DO NOT pass this trait on!!!! The blue eyes and pink skin provide your mare with 100% palomino or buckskin coloured progeny. When breeding to a palomino or buckskin stallion you may only have a 1 in 4 chance of throwing colour.

The service fee for Sinatra is $1,200.00 including GST and a non-refundable $200.00 booking and mare-handling fee for live cover or $1,200.00 including GST and a non-refundable $200.00 booking and collection fee for AI. Courier charges will be additional for AI.
